"Tiers & Spheres Anti-Gravity Cake Kit" star star star star star This is really interesting and I bought for future use looking forward to using, sure it will help cake making.
"Anti gravity cake" star star star star_border star_border It was a bit fiddly and felt flimsy but it did work and held the weight of the cake which I didn't think it would. I would not like to have to have moved it anywhere once built but it did the job for my daughters cake
"Nice idea but poorly made" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Love the idea of this kit but when I tried it out, I found that the plastic rod pieces that make legs/supports were difficult to join cleanly and even more difficult to separate that I was in danger of breaking them. The medium circular cake plate snapped in half whilst supporting the cake! I'm disappointed that after one use it has turned out to be flimsy and poorly constructed. If you're happy to spend £15 and are prepared to risk breaking it then by all means buy this item because it can make fab cake displays. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. I'm sorry that you'd had a problem with the middle tier, I'll be in touch shortly to put this right.
"Doesn't do what it says on the box." star star_border star_border star_border star_border Terrible product, we have been trying to figure out how on earth you put it together to make the cake on the box, no way, it is impossible, either you have the pole in the middle or nowhere else, the instruction supplied are useless, you might as well just have one hole in each board rather than all the blanking plates. This is trying to be something it isn't, waste of my money. support_agent A note from the team We're sorry to hear you've been disappointed with this product and will do our best to help. It's true to make the tiered cake and sphere cake shown on the box illustrations, a centrally positioned rod is the method to use. However, to create the cute sheep design, you'll need to work with the medium rods and place them in alternative holes on the base cake board - covering the centre hole with a blanking cap. These rods will form the sheep legs structure. Of course we don't know which creation you're planning, but we've made sure you have options for whatever you choose. We hope you'll be willing to try again and persevere to show others your creative skills.
"Disappointed" star star star_border star_border star_border I purchased this product specifically to make the ice cream cone cake shown on the website. I was really pleased with the results. However I had to take the cake to the party it was made for. The top heavy nature of the cake and the lightness of the plastic board make transporting it a nightmare and my perfectly straight cake ended up leaning at a 45 degree angle. I emailed Lakeland but I was told this was a presentation stand and transportation isn't a factor. I purchased this as a piece of cake decorating equipment but it seems Lakeland doesn't agree. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry to hear of the difficulty you've had transporting your cake and pleased our customer services team have helped with your refund
