About Our Range of Cast Iron Cookware

Cast iron cookware is built to last. That’s why lots of us will probably have one or two pieces in our kitchens that have been passed down through the years. There’s no getting round the fact that cast iron is heavy, so we’ve given these enamel-coated pieces large, curved carry handles that you can get your hands comfortably and safely under, even when wearing oven gloves, making each piece much easier to get in and out of the oven or take to the table for serving. We’ve also included a bigger than usual knob on top for ease of use and, to avoid the food traps that can make them difficult to clean, the lids have no screw underneath.

Offering superb heat retention and even distribution, cast iron is suitable for all kinds of cooking in the oven up to 260°C and on all hobs, including induction – and you can even bake bread in the casserole dishes.
