Lakeland Granite Mortar and Pestle 5 "So Happy" 04 January 2019 after many years of looking at granite mortar and pestles ,I finally brought this one it is every thing that I was looking for it has weight and is rough in texture so grinds much easier than the smoother one that I had which was very small , but this one being bigger has more room in which to grind the spices etc.

Lakeland Granite Mortar and Pestle 4 "Attractive and practical" Sarah Lambert 22 January 2019 Although I carefully noted the measurements the interior of the"bowl" was a little smaller than I had envisaged, that said I am pleased with pestle and mortar. It is efficient and does the job, crushing seeds, salt and other spices. I haven't yet made pesto in it as it is not basil season !
