Lakeland Blue & White Tagine

Product number: 71122

For centuries, North African cuisine has relied on this unusual-looking cooking pot, whose cone-shaped lid ensures steam cools and recondenses. The result is succulent, tender food full of flavour.

Suitable for use in the oven or on the hob with a heat diffuser, it's made from stoneware with a lovely blue and white finish.

(Not suitable for ceramic, induction or halogen hobs.)

"Too hot to handle"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

Very pretty but not easy at all to take the lid off when its hot out of the oven as the funnel is so smooth you cant get a grip on it (even with grippy gloves, had to resort to putting a knife into the base edge and prising it up so you can grasp that edge to lift it off, equally as awkward to put back on so i resorted to using foil instead..) noticed on the larger one you sell that has a rim close to the funnel top to enable a grip to be had..
