Unlike the small version, I have found this one to have limited uses for me. I also found that it will not clear the whole bowl of the scoop with a swoop, and the gear for the squeezing mechanism has stuck more than once, leaving the swooper extended! Have found that I return to my trusty but old Zyliss scoop for ice cream, and this remains relegated to very occasional use for the more liquid batters. I wouldn’t recommend it for much more than that, but if that’s your purpose I think it will suit you.
