Vacu Vin Slice & Catch

Purchased in Sale, Great little gadget, however if produce is little old, over ripe it will turn to mush. Hubby, is a mushroom soup fan, so this helps immensely. I feel the blades are a little dodgy in little hands, or those unaware what gadget is, as tempting to try to move food being cut inside cup. Smaller bits do fall thru, blocking clean cuts to other pieces.

Buying this in the sale, I hoped this would be a nifty gadget, that was cheap and could possibly save some time. However, it is completely useless! The blades are not sharp enough to cut the mushrooms, so it just crushes them and then slices them badly. You just end up with lots of bits of mushroom, no real slices.
