Lakeland Gourmet Stuffed Burger Press

Product number: 71014

A fabulous press for burgers with a hidden secret... So easy to use, it makes a regular burger and, with the special insert in place, creates a space to fill with sauce or cheese. Also includes a second set of moulds to make three perfect bite-sized mini burgers or ‘sliders’ at a time.

(Tip : We recommend brushing a tiny amount of oil into the mould before adding the meat to prevent burgers from sticking.)

"Useful but possibly over engineered"

star star star star_border star_border

Really just wanted a simple burger press. This came with lots of options eg to make small burgers etc but did not have a great press mechanism to keep the burgers shaped. Or remove them cleanly. It is still useful but a simpler but better design would have been preferable

"Brilliant Piece of Kit"

I’ve made my own burgers for years and have various presses. This is brilliant. I’ve made 5 burgers this afternoon using the Gormet Press using season beef mince including a blue cheese middle. I used the 4” wax discs to line each side before putting in the mince and everything came out perfect. They look like beef macrons!! Will certainly be using this when burgers are required. It’s smashing.

"Awful! Hate it."

I went into a shop yesterday to replace my old burger press, only to find it has now been redesigned. Why change something when the old version was far superior? I feel like I’ve been scammed out of £10.99, and they have the cheek to claim on the box that you’re getting ‘free inserts’! The ‘redesign’ is flimsy, the wax discs slip about when you’re trying to put the mixture in, there’s no way of knowing how much to put in, so some burgers were spilling out the sides, others weren’t filled enough. And they’ve made the burgers fatter, which I don’t like. Landfill here we come. Rubbish.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear of your disappointment with the burger press. As we've sold this design since 2016, we think the one you may have wished to purchase was the quarter pounder burger press (10481). We'd recommend to put the bottom disc in, add the mixture then put the second disc on top of the meat, rather than try and sit it in the top of the press and then close it. You'll be able to return this under our three year guarantee - please don't forget to take your receipt with you.

"makes life easier with a few hacks"

a bit of a fiddle purely because you have to try and judge how much meat to put into the sides. i filled mine with chedder in the middle. it does work but it does also stick to the press. Ive seen other review mention using the paper discs. there are eco ones i have been eyeing up so i will be trying that out. it does work you just have to learn how to use it just like every tool you use whether its simple or complex. give it a chance

"Burger Press is Amazing works well but Buy the Paper Disks"

Ignore negative reviews. Spray plates with oil, paper disks in both parts, fill top & bottom, put red middle section on, fold over & press down hard. Open holding red middle part & peel off, I used cream cheese to fill. Fill & press down hard, open just the top leaving the top plate below, peel the top plate off from hinge end, leaves burger complete on bottom plate, time to be amazed. Remove excess from edges, peel paper disk off top plate place back on burger, take bottom plate out, turn upside-down & shake, it will drop out without paper disk, again remove from plate, place back on - done.
