For effortless peeling in seconds flat, turn to the Zipeela. It will peel any shape of fruit and veg from long and thin to small and round – perfect for marmalade makers who need thin-cut citrus zest, the efficient blades will make fast work of potatoes, pears, cucumbers and courgettes – it will even peel kiwi fruit if they’re not too ripe.
Just secure your chosen item in between the spikes, lift the peeler arm into place and press the button to remove a thin ribbon of skin with no waste and no effort – if you need to create vegetable spaghetti, just return the arm to the top and repeat until you have enough. Two spare peeling blades and a paring tool are stored in the base. Requires 4 x AA batteries for cordless operation.

I find if you wet the potato it peels easier. I haven't had any problems with my zipeela. I love it. I have problems peeling due to health issues with my hands and find this so handy and easy to use and my friend thinks so too. I would definitely recommend.
I bought my Zipeela yesterday and used it today. Instead of the usual slog to peel my 3lb of seville oranges with my arthritic thumb they were done in less than 10 minutes. It would have taken less time if I hadn't had to wait for my husband to come back from the allotment to have a go at peeling the last one. I bought this item in the sale thinking that I might be throwing it in the bin but no way. It will find space in my cupboard ready for the next lot of marmalade. However I have not tried any other fruit or veg and I am not sure I would be so pleased if I had paid full price.
I am so pleased with this product, due to hand mobility issues I can't peel potatoes, this did the job in second, soon had a pan of potatoes. Tried sweet potatoes they didn't work so well, blade tended to clog.
I bought this 2 days before Christmas but I am sorry to say that I have found this item extremely awkward to use, the mechanism to hold item is very difficult to move and the blade gets clogged quite a bit. The 1st item that I will be returning for a refund , not one of you best products and I have purchased quite a few

Most rubbish thing I bought for a long time. Wheelchair user with weak hands so thought peeler would be ideal for me. It took more effort and time to peel 1 potatoe with it than it would to struggle myself. Failed on apple and pear. Then snapped when I tried a lemon ...in the bin.
