I have used a range of lids in the past which claim to be compatible with Mason jars but will now always use the branded product after a few disappointments. The Mason jar lids give a firm seal every time, no leaking or contamination of jar contents. They work equally as well with the other major brand jars. In my opinion, if you want positive results with home canning every time, this is the product to use.

Relieved and pleased to see you have these. I have put up preserves in mason jars for years in Canada, but have found the replacement lids hard to get in U.K. Ball are the best. So far all have sealed well.Will be stocking up again. The price is fair, esp. considering what some greedy people are charging elsewhere. Prompt delivery also.
