Wilton® Silicone Mini Treat Mould

I have used silicone products from lakeland before and haven't been disappointed. This product however is very disappointing. I have tried two basic cake recipes today using this product both times the cakes have got stuck or broken the tips off. I was really looking forward to creating some cake pops for our Christmas Fayre but won't be able to now. Think the design is too small for cake mix

Having read the previous post after purchasing it in store I decided to try every possible method to grease the mould in the hope of success. About ten came out almost perfectly but not really a high enough success rate to allow for making multiple cake pop style trees. Thinking it will have to be used more as a jelly mould!

We had a trial run today of our Teacher & School Friend Christmas treat bags. We planned to use this mould to make Santa Hats and Christmas Tree pops...what a disaster. Despite carefully greasing each individual cone the tops stuck and broke off when we tried to remove them. We tried butter, cake release, oil and four - none of which were successful. If there was an option to give zero star rating I would have chosen that!
