I have had my original laser scissors for well over 10 years. They have survived all manor of use and abuse including 18 months in the bottom of a muck heap after being lost in the sheep yard.They go through the dishwasher and are used for everything from paper to food preparation. They may just be losing their edge a bit but if they fail I will definitely get another pair.
I don't know why some folks found these scissors go blunt easily. I've had mine for ages and they have only needed mild sharpening once. Unless you try to cut concrete to pass the time of day, these are great!
I originally bought these scissors 2 or 3 years ago and thought they were excellent then, but the pair I had were a bit stiff. In retrospect, I realised they were a bit faulty as the blades were too tight together making them stiff to use. So I risked getting another pair, despite the price as they were just so good at cutting and stayed sharp. The 2nd pair were much easier to use. Both pairs are the best I've ever had in scissors. Expensive maybe, but worth it.
These are some of the best scissors that I have ever used, but they are quite large. It would be nice if you stocked smaller versions of the same design - none of the others that you stock are quite the same.

I have these scissors and was very pleased with them in the beginning.They were kept for "good scissors" but sad to say they lost that initial sharpness rather quickly and, while still able to cut, are nowhere as efficient. I was hesitant about writing this but after considering buying different scissors (the soft grip ones) decided that I should share my experience.
Thanks for your review and taking the time to speak to me on the phone. To keep your scissors honed you can periodically sharpen them using the Swiss knife sharpener, ref 1954. I'll be in touch shortly to help.
