Bacon Rack and Tin Set

A little disappointed with this concept. Firstly, although not stated, the depth of the rack is only suitable for streaky rashers, others would not stand up. By the time the oven has heated and the rashers cooked it would have been much quicker to grill and using fat trappers all the grease is absorbed. I'm always willing to give new ideas a try but regret , in my opinion, this doesn't work.

I found the same problem as the previous reviewer about the depth of the rack. I also found it very difficult to clean. On the plus side I rarely have complaints about Lakeland products as they are usually tried, tested and the best.

I was really excited when I purchased this item. At last, a healthier way of cooking bacon. The idea behind the bacon rack and tin set is good, but it is not workable. The bacon does not roast evenly. Unless the bacon strips are removed from the pan almost immediately, it sticks to the rack and breaks up. Washing the rack is a nightmare. Despite having soaked it in hot soapy water and cleaning with a sponge and brush, I could not get the rack clean. I gave up! This ranks as my worst purchase from Lakeland.
