"Bordering on the ridiculous"
If dishwashed there is always water left in one of the deep parts of the jug so has to be rewashed by hand. It is hard to dry with a dishtowel because of all the tiny spaces. To measure, the jug MUST have the little set of spoons attached to the green insert otherwise it will not measure properly. Even so the measurements are not all that accurate. I tested it with a measure from a jug with known accuracy. The measures cannot be seen at all angles, contrary to the claims made by the manufacturer. This is not a practical jug. Shall return.

When washing the jug the green inner that holds the measuring spoons can be removed and clicked back in to place once dry. It is possible to remove these spoons and continue to measure. Just click the tab back in place once the spoons are removed.
