Bought this towards the end of last year thinking great will use for salads in the summer. However having used air a couple of times, it really is too small to be used for 2 people. It does not really give great spirals more short cuts. I would like return and buy another more solid one. However as no longer have receipt wonder if they will allow?

This little gadget will only work with courgettes. The metal teeth do not grab carrots or sweet potatoes, the veg just spins round and round. I am very disappointed with this as I thought it would be good fun, but it is just a load of twisty stress.

For best results use chunky veg and cut the top and bottom straight, so that it has a level base before fixing it to the spikes. This gives it a firmer grip on the vegetable which makes it easy for spiralizing. I'll be in touch to help.

Well bought this just after Christmas, and have given it a fair trial.... but will be taking it back to Lakelands Eastbourne... carrots are really impossible to spriralize and to us the lid doesn't really grip the vegetables. Oh well back to the drawing board to look for another one

lack of instruction seems to be the prob here. If you use narrow veg such as carrots it will chop them into small bits. If you use wider veg it does what it is supposed to do-spiralize. Yes the central core is lost but it does work. People with arthritis could well find any hand held spiralizer difficult. It does work well for small amounts.
