About Renshaw Ready to Roll Coloured Icing

nice and soft and easy to roll out and model
I bought this in orange, red and some multipacks to cover sponge cakes and for using in silicone moulds. The cakes covered ok but it wasn't easy to work with as it ripped easily and seemed greasier than fondant. It was terrible in the silicone moulds and didn't set well at all whilst some fondant from the supermarket set really well. Worst of all it tasted absolutely disgusting! I normally like fondant but this was synthetic and greasy; a bit like eating wax crayons. Next time I'll colour my own icing.
Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. I'm sorry that you'd been disappointed with the packs of icing, I'll be in touch shortly.
