Terraillon T1040 Flat Digital Kitchen Weighing Scale

I need to measure out precise food for my strict diet, and needed something slim to store in my small kitchen, but precise enough to do the job. This is perfect. Lightweight, good sensitivity on the touch-pad to turn it on. Lots of functions to change from imperial to metric, and if you need to measure food in a bowl, it has a special function button where it ignores the weight of the bowl for you. Highly recommend.

Purchased these as a gift for a family member. Liked the initial look of the scales and thought about buying some for myself, however the scales have now been given back to me to return because from the moment they were taken out of the box they have not worked properly. The adjustable weighing options i.e. g to lb's oz's won't change from the g setting. My family member has tried and I have tried as well but they just won't change. Extremely disappointing and embarrassing, especially as these were a present. Will be returning to my local store as soon as I can get there.

I was bought a Terraillon, T1040 weighing scales for a Christmas gift, 2016. I have found that as was said in a previous review, it does not work properly. I am so disappointed. The fact is, that it was purchased as a nice gift. I could not recommend this item to anyone unless I can be shown that it actually works properly. I intend to return it to Lakeland and expect it to be replaced with one that works. David Small
