Terraillon® My Cook 15 Jam Flat Digital Kitchen Weighing Scale

I bought this set of scales as a replacement for the Terraillon Nutritab - and I am still disappointed. It is very difficult to use the Tare function, it sometimes won't switch on. The smooth surface appealed to me as it is easy to keep clean - but the surface is not responsive and I end up having to "strike" the surface with my finger in multiple locations - hoping that I hit the right spot to a) turn it on, b) reset to zero, c) change the unit of measure. A very disappointing product - I am glad I didn't throw my old set of scales (with buttons) away>

Bought these from Salisbury. Looking forward to my new scales only to find they were totally unusable. Can not get them to zero and if I managed this after some time I weighed the ingredients and the scales got to a correct weight and then started to flash back and forward showing different weights impossible to know if accurate. Asked at the store if I could replace as I had misleads my receipt. I was told that I could not have a refund but could exchange for a different set.

I cook a lot and these scales are so very frustrating. Firstly, takes forever for them to respond to touch. Secondly, once I have weighed something I seldom get it to go back to 0 g and thirdly I cannot get the weigh and add to work ever! I have used them for a few months just in case I could finally work it out. No way. I am now in the process of reviewing and trying to find new scales :( I rated it one star but I could I would rate it 0 stars - sorry but I am very unhappy.
