Add a little ‘Ooh la la’ to the holiday season with a home-made bûche de noel or yule log cake. A firm favourite with families in France, this delicious alternative to Christmas pudding is easier than you might think to create.
For a perfectly shaped, perfectly filled Yule log, line the mould with the non-stick liner then add your pre-baked Swiss roll. Spoon or pipe in the filling of your choice, top with a layer of sponge, then flip the mould over, turn out and decorate. Also great for moulding sweet and savoury mousses or terrines, the non-stick liner lets you release your creation with ease once set.
Comprises stainless steel mould, non-stick liner and plastic insert to measure the right amount of filling.

When I saw this product in the shop I thought this would be the answer to keeping my roulades in shape. Can you please confirm I can use this product in the oven to cook my sponge due to it being oven proof or is it just for shaping and filing?
Thank you for placing your review. You can indeed cook your sponge in this mould as it's safe up to 240c.
I picked this up in the Milton Keynes store thinking it was a baking tin that I could cook a cylinder shaped cake in. When I read the box at home I was surprised to see that it was just a mould. I checked the website where it says it is oven safe but it doesn't say that on the box. The website also says it is dish washer safe but the box says it should only be hand washed! I very confused!
We're sorry the care instructions are misleading and can confirm this mould is oven safe to 240c and is NOT dish washer safe. This has now been corrected on the web site.
