Versatile
Ideal for speeding through food prep in no time, it benefits from the same ExactSlice system as KitchenAid’s Artisan 4L Food Processor - with a super-sharp slicing disc for precision chopping, mixing and slicing and an external lever for easily adjusting the slicing thickness - and it also comes with a double-bladed dicing kit as well as reversible shredding and julienne discs with a choice of fine or coarse strips.
Wide Feed Chute
Ideal for chopping, dicing, shredding and slicing everything from soft fruit to hard cheese, it has a wide 2-in-1 feed tube with a food wiper that pushes food towards the opening, making it quicker and easier to process into any bowl or cooking dish.
Dishwasher Safe
To make cleaning up straightforward, all the accessories are dishwasher safe and the whole kit comes in its own compact storage box.

This is an excellent piece of kit - easy to assemble, use and clean. Anything that makes kitchen work easier is always a good thing, and this comes up to KitchenAid's usual good, solid standard. Can heartily recommend.
I have a KitchenAid stand mixer and was looking for a food processor, to avoid an additional appliance in the kitchen we went down the route of the attachment. I have used it once and was left a little disappointed. It does chop, shred, dice etc which all fall into a bowl placed underneath the attachment, but there is no mechanism to blend things together. If you are looking for this to chop and dice etc it is a great attachment, but if like me and you want things to mix together (ie. hummus) it might be best to go for the stand processor.
