If you’re totally into tea, there’s a lot more to making the perfect cuppa than how long the bag stays in the mug. Green, white, oolong, black, herbal… there are hundreds of deliciously different teas out there and, to extract the desired degree of flavour, you need to get the water temperature and infusion times just right. Of course, you’ll probably still want to boil water in the normal way, so this dual-purpose kettle comes with a lid that lets you do just that, but it really comes into its own when it’s time for tea.

To get the best out of your brew, add your leaves to the basket, fit the filter lid and choose the appropriate temperature setting, from 70°C for delicate green to 100°C for hardy black teas. When the pre-set temperature has been reached, lower the basket into the water and infuse the leaves until your drink is just right.

A keep-warm button helps it stay hot for up to 30 minutes, the glass jug lets you keep an eye on your brew, and there’s a super-efficient concealed heating element for a rapid boil.
