"What to do if it is solid not liquid..."
Having bought this as part of a set I discovered that the pink dye had solidified. I contacted Lakeland who immediately sent a replacement. The replacement was also solid, as was the second replacement. It seems that this is a common problem with this product. However, by putting the bottle in a small cup of boiling water the dye then melted into a liquid and I could use it. I also have the Wilton pink gel and would probably recommend it over the liquid unless you are after a very specific colour.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. The ingredients for the pink is slightly different to the other colours and it is effected by temperature. This means when it is exposed to cooler temperatures it can thicken. It is a natural reaction and doesn't change the quality of the product. TIPS - • Do not microwave. • Boil water in a small pot or kettle. • Carefully pour boiled water into heat-safe bowl. • Using tongs or a slotted spoon, carefully place closed Colour Right bottle into water. • Let sit for 5 minutes. • Using tongs or a slotted spoon, carefully remove bottle from bowl and place on a towel. Do not touch the bottle directly as the bottle may still be hot. Wrap towel around bottle to wipe down excess water and shake colour back into solution. Let bottle sit 5 minutes before handling directly.
