"definitive version"

This review is for an older version of this product

I have bought several tongs over the years. The Oxo good grips tongs have now replaced all these other. They open out wide when you push in the button on the end. When you pull the button out they close and can be hung up. They grip really well and are so easy to use. These 12" tongs are maybe a bit unwieldy, but better to have them too long than too short. I am really pleased with my purchase. I can now stop looking for the definitive version.
