Blue Bobble Water Bottle

I bought two of these for my parents (68 and 70) who use Brita / charcoal filters because their tap water smells and tastes really strongly of chlorine and puts them off drinking straight tap water. They loved them so I got one too. They work like bicycle water bottles or medium sports drink or mineral water bottles: squeeze and drink. Water tastes great if you don't like chlorine odour in tap water and it saves on plastic waste too - no need to buy mineral water.

I am surprised that there are no reviews concerning this bottle. When I take the protective cap off, I find it extremely difficult to open the top to allow the water through. In trying to get the top 'up' I inevitably unscrew the top completely and have given up as the water leaks out at awkward times. I am disappointed also because I bought a spare filter in advance (Lakeland has moved to an out of town location) and I am not sure Lakeland will have this as a return. I have given the product 3 stars as I think the concept is really good.

I have this bottle and found out that you have to literally squeeze the bottle to get the water to come through the bottle when drinking. Not ideal. I heard from a friend, after I purchased this bottle that theirs split through continuous squeezing.

Bought this in an attempt to end my purchase of bottled water but wish I'd read previous reviews. It is extremely difficult to get any water through the drinking stopper without a lot of squeezing of the bottle. I thought it would be suitable to take to the gym, but it's not. I've given up trying to drink from it and just use it to dispense water into a glass. Wish I hadn't bought it. Given it 2 stars just because I can filter the water.
