6 Edible Cake Decorating Colourful Food Paints (6 x 25ml)

I bought these paints as it said use directly onto fondant and dries over night!! 3 days later and the cake was still wet, in the end i had my friend had to throw her cake away, i had to give her back her money. So i lost the money for the cake, plus the £12.99 purchase price and was extremely upset that a 5 year old boy had to go without a birthday cake.

I thought this would be good for painting white chocolate. It goes on nicely, but then it does not dry. 2 days of 20 degree weather and its as wet as when it went on. I could forgive it flaking or cracking or not adhering very well, but this is useless. What am I supposed to do with a chocolate covered cake with wet decoration? I should have got some oil based colouring elsewhere. Plus its tastes horrible.

Have over the years bought many products from Lakeland, and this has been my first disappointment. Used this product EXACTLY as directed on container. It still wasn't dry after three days, abuse waste of my time. Had to redesign birthday cake. Very unimpressed. Doesn't even merit a 1 star preview.

My husband bought me these as I was making a cake for my Granddaughter's birthday. Lucky she was 10! I had 2 separate cakes, and had painted the fondant icing on the no. 1. Three day's later it still had not dried! Just told her not to cut the No 1 at her party. If I had read the reviews I probably would not have used it and returned. Only used the black, but I am scared to use the other colours in case the same happens! Must say this is the first Lakeland product I have been disappointed with! Usually a great fan and am putting an order in.
