Value Non Stick Induction Cookware - 20cm Saucepan

We bought one of these and a 16cm one for our son who is starting university this September. For just a few pounds more than the rubbish set we'd already made the mistake of buying elsewhere, these pans do not even compare. Excellent quality construction, the bases are solid and flat. Glass lids and a soft touch handle make them perfect. We could not be more pleased that our son has some decent quality pans that will easily see him out his first year and probably many more, without having spent a fortune. Top marks Lakeland.

It's great for cooking, sautéing, making desserts. The size accommodates good cooking portions. The bottom is quite durable and strong. The handle gives good grip. However, a great pan has a horrible lid. One is cleaning the sides between rim where the glass is fixed too closely. Sediments and rust deposit inside which can't be removed with a scrubber is very disappointing. Water gets trapped inside the nob that is screwed on the glass which takes too long to dry in-order to store. I hope the new models would have sufficient gap between rim and the glass. So it can be cleaned properly.

This excellent saucepan does all it says and I didn't find any problem with the lid as someone has said. Even better was the Customer Relations. Sadly when it arrived it was slightly distorted and though perfectly usable was not what I had paid for. When I rang up there was not the slightest hesitation that I would be sent a new one without having to return the other, just the suggestion that I might give it to a Charity shop which I will do.
