Quality
Made from 1mm thick heavy-duty carbon steel that’s thicker than most on the market, they have loose bases for easy release and two layers of Quantum 2 professional non-stick so nothing gets left behind. And when it comes to clean-up, there are no rolled edges where water can collect so they can go straight in your dishwasher.
Performance
Excellent heat distribution with no hot spots means all your creations will be evenly cooked, and the generously sized handles with sure-grip silicone inserts make getting them in and out of the oven easy.
No rolled edges
The rolled edges found on most bakeware introduce a difficult-to-dry space underneath the rim, and the edges themselves can be difficult to coat. We decided to leave the edges of out bakeware unrolled, removing the risk of water traps and uncoated carbon steel edges that might rust – making them completely dishwasher safe.
About the Lakeland Ovenware Range
We spent two years obsessing over every detail of our Lakeland Ovenware Range to make every piece the best it can be. Made from 1mm thick carbon steel, which is thicker than most you can buy, many same-sized pieces nest inside each other and differently sized items can also be stacked to save valuable cupboard space. Very impressed with the non stick qualities of these mini tins. Today I have made mini quiches for a family party and took the plunge and did absolutely nothing to the tins in the way of greasing them Just added the pastry and filling and cooked them. Just took them out of the oven and perfect results! Brilliant
These are brill make small pies tarts and quiche so no need to throw away any leftovers from larger bake as it doesn’t have time to go mush
Got two sets of these and really pleased with them for both sweet and savoury tarts. Excellent non stick, and wash well. Highly recommended
I love these tins still - they are still super easy to use and release my pastry (with a little help from some butter) fuss free every time. However, after a couple of years of regular use ( probably three times a week in the summer and not at all the rest of the year) the bases have started to rust quite badly and they will have to be replaced. So, I would say not really for people who are going to do a lot of baking on a regular basis.

Have never made my own pastry tarts, always shop bought, however took the plunge and bought these. Made both short crust and puff pastry tarts. Came out perfect!!! I am concerned about the small hole in the insert plates.Is it there for a reason?? The small silicone (?) grips in the handles are a bonus!.
