Quality
Made from 1mm thick heavy-duty carbon steel that’s thicker than most on the market, it will see you through many a baking session. With two layers of Quantum 2 professional non-stick so nothing gets left behind, it has no rolled edges where water can collect so is safe to go straight into your dishwasher.
Performance
Excellent heat distribution with no hot spots means your flan will be evenly cooked, and the generously sized handles with sure-grip silicone inserts will make getting it in and out of the oven a doddle
No rolled edges
The rolled edges found on most bakeware introduce a difficult-to-dry space underneath the rim, and the edges themselves can be difficult to coat. We decided to leave the edges of out bakeware unrolled, removing the risk of water traps and uncoated carbon steel edges that might rust – making them completely dishwasher safe.

I bought this tin on Thursday and made a sponge flan on Friday. Unlike the previous reviewer, at last I've found a flan tin I like - the contents did not stick and neither did it leak ( I made an egg sponge). Thank you Lakeland.
The flan tin is, like all other items in this range, ideal for its purpose. So impressed am I with this whole range that I've now replaced all my old baking tins, and am finding that my baking is inspired by the new ones. I'm delighted by the excellence of the flan tin. Thank you!
Bought this last week for a 4 person dinner party. My family size one is too big.this was perfect 4 large portions or 6 just right portions. Flan cooked really well and came out fairly easily ...I did flour and grease it....with the gentle help of a knife to loosen the base. Thank you

This item is absolutely amazing. The flans turn out perfectly each time. Are better than going out and buying them. Again I would totally recommend them to anyone. They are also very easy to clean and store.
