"Great little sandwich tins"
I used these yesterday to make a Victoria sponge. I added a baking parchment circle to the bottom and lightly greased the sides with a little margarine and the cakes turned out easily.

Lakeland Loose Based 15cm Round Sandwich Tin
Product number: 70187
For baking success you need reliable bakeware. Our 6-inch sandwich tin has a loose base so all your cakes and sponges will be released easily.
Quality
Made from heavy-duty 1mm thick carbon steel and given a double layer of Quantum 2 professional non-stick and it’s oven safe up to 240°C. And because there are no rolled edges for water to get trapped, it can safely go in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.
Performance
Offering even heat distribution, all your bakes will be cooked to perfection, and generous handles with sure-grip silicone inserts will make getting the tin in and out of the oven a breeze. Handy fill lines on the inside show you how deep your mixture needs to be for a perfect tin-filling rise and, for space-saving storage, it’s designed to stack inside both larger tins and tins of the same size.
No rolled edges
The rolled edges found on most bakeware introduce a difficult-to-dry space underneath the rim, and the edges themselves can be difficult to coat. We decided to leave the edges of our bakeware unrolled, removing the risk of water traps and uncoated carbon steel edges that might rust – making them completely dishwasher safe.
About the Lakeland Ovenware Range
Whatever you’re cooking or baking, you’ll find the right tin for the task in our Lakeland Ovenware range. Made from heavy-duty carbon steel with a Quantum 2 professional non-stick coating, they give a firm foundation to help your recipes turn out brilliantly. They’re dishwasher safe, durable and reliable, but it’s the extra little details we’ve added that sets them apart from the rest.
It’s practical improvements, like handy fill lines, making same-shaped pieces stack and adding pouring noses to our roasters, that makes our range outshine most others. We’ve also given our tins’ exteriors a lovely pearlescent finish so they look really special too. Because why shouldn’t your ovenware look as good as your roasts and bakes do?

I used these yesterday to make a Victoria sponge. I added a baking parchment circle to the bottom and lightly greased the sides with a little margarine and the cakes turned out easily.
Was expecting to find a choice of small tins but this was the only option in the store. More than I wanted to pay but needed them. On removing the excessive packaging and large plastic display clip( which I would imagine could be reused by yourselves) the silicone grip on the handle came out. Not the easiest of jobs getting back in! On a positive note, they are good quality pans, but to be expected, given the price
I used these for the first time with my granddaughter but however on lifting these out if the oven one of the little lakeland silicon buttons fell out on to the cake. I have since taken the others off as these could be a choking hazard. I think the button inserts are unnecessary
Thank you for your review. The silicone inserts are there to help get the tin out of the oven as they provide something for you to grip onto through your oven gloves.
The first time I used these mixture ran out of the bottom and the cakes were a failure. Since I have now removed the fill guides the tins now work fine and the cakes are great. It would be helpful on the paperwork to have some idea if the best results can be obtained using a two or three egg mixture. The Lakeland inserts on the handles fell out before first use.
Thank you for your review. We're pleased the cake tin is now working well for you. We'll be sure to pass your suggestion along to our Buyers.
Ideal for small cakes, solid with quality
