Ideal for making large fruit cakes, birthday cakes or tiered wedding cakes in combination with other sizes in the range, whatever you bake in this fantastic quality tin will be cooked perfectly, with no burnt bits, and release easily and quickly for cooling.
Quality
Made from 1mm thick heavy-duty carbon steel – thicker than most others you can buy – it has two layers of Quantum 2 professional non-stick, is oven safe up to 240°C and will retain its shape during baking. And because it has no rolled edges where water can get trapped, it can go straight in the dishwasher for easy clean-up.
Performance
Providing superb heat distribution, all your bakes will be evenly cooked through, and with clever fill lines on the inside, you’ll know exactly when to stop pouring your mixture in for a perfect tin-filling rise. Large handles with sure-grip silicone inserts will make getting the tin to and from the oven easy and, for space-saving storage, it’s designed to stack neatly with the other round cake tins in the range.
No rolled edges
The rolled edges found on most bakeware introduce a difficult-to-dry space underneath the rim, and the edges themselves can be difficult to coat. We decided to leave the edges of our bakeware unrolled, removing the risk of water traps and uncoated carbon steel edges that might rust – making them completely dishwasher safe.

Recently got a few sizes of these tins and can't praise enough. Yes here is a slight incline but once cakes are covered and decorated you can't really notice. I found my cakes cooked more evenly with a decent level rise on them compared to my other tins. Definately worth the money.
I cannot believe that these tins are a half inch different at the top to the bottom, I bought two of these to make my daughters wedding cakes and have had to throw the cake away, and buy new tins! The sides of the cake was quite obviously not straight. Unfortunately I thought I could trust Lakeland. I can't express how frustrated I feel. I would not give any stars for this product but The system makes me give one star.

This particular range of tins have been designed to nest inside each other and differently sized items in the range can also be stacked to save valuable cupboard space.
I’ve just bought this 10” cake tin to make a tiered, naked celebration cake and wished I had read the previous review! The tin has not got straight sides so is no good for my style of cake! Why is this not mentioned in the description? All my cake tins are from Lakeland and never been a problem - when you advertise a tin as 10” then that’s what you expect from top to bottom!Im so very cross as I’d put today aside to bake and couldn’t do it!
