Made from lightweight yet super-robust polypropylene, the board is sure to last many food prep sessions to come. To make your life a little bit easier, it is also made with a non-slip surface, to keep the board, and your food, in place while you work. If you’re working with food straight from the pan or the oven, the board is usefully heat-resistant up to 90°C and can go in the dishwasher for quick and easy cleaning.

got one of these to use at the table as they are thin & light weight easy to carry around.i use it mainly for mushrooms because they stain so much & this one is brilliant because you can just put it in the dishwasher to get it spotless. it also fits perfectly in the thin end holders of the Lakeland bakeware organiser!!!!!. perfect value & a perfect fit in yet another great Lakeland product.
When I took this chopping board out of the box I thought it was a mistake, it could not be what I had ordered! My current Lakeland chopping board is 30+ years old, 1/2 inch thick, plain white and reassuring to use. This was the closest one I could find, and although it did not state the thickness in the product description, everything else seemed OK. However, this one is only 1/8 inch thick and does not look as if it would last 30 months of heavy chopping, let alone 30 years. I realise that products have developed over time, so will give it a go, when it has had its initial dishwash.
