"Brilliant!"

I happened upon these "value" bowls in the Lakeland store, and snapped up both a large and two small ones. They are exactly what I needed - lightweight (the large weighs a mere 230g), easy to grip with the handy rim, and sides that are sloped enough so that you can see the readout when it sits on a digital scale. The shop assistant said that these were a "trial" and she wasn't sure whether it would be a regular range. Please Lakeland, keep this range!
