Lakeland Ceramic Hob

I bought this when our cooker stopped working and we needed something quickly to cook on. This is just brilliant, just plug it in and you are away. I have used it for pretty much everything, making porridge, heating up soups and making complete one pot dishes. It has worked well with everything, small pans, large pans as well as a frying pan. I have mainly used it on heat nos 1, 2 and 3 as they have been powerful enough for what I needed. Service from Lakeland was great as usual, ordered this on next day delivery and it was with me by lunchtime. 5 stars all round.

Needed a compact hob to go with my mini oven it looks good when not in use on top of my mini oven and it shouldn't rust unlike solid hobs. Never seen a ceramic one before but it heats up quickly, not sure about putting smaller pans on as you cant alter the size it heats up which means handles on smaller pans get hot and don't know if this will affect the hob as you're not supposed to put hob on without a pan. Would have given it 5 stars if it had a choice of 2 heating zones, one for smaller pans and one for larger pans as you get on a proper ceramic hob. I had an induction hob and didn't like it.
