Dessert and Jelly Moulds

I nearly didn't buy these after reading some of the reviews but I'm so glad I did. I have made jellies in them and they were extremely successful. I followed the advice in the other review and stored them on the small end in the fridge. They didn't leak, even though I filled them with warm jelly and put them straight in the fridge, and have made very cute moulds - just the right size aswell. Also the jellies come out beautifully because of the 2 removable ends. I agree that the instructions could be better but I was very pleased with these moulds....

Leakage occurs because the container and lid are made of two different types of plastic which expand at different rates when hot liquid is added. If placed upside down on its lid it will leak, if placed the correct way up, on its base, it will not leak.Not a design fault but more user error, perhaps the manufacturer should warn of this.I am very pleased with mine. Four containers exactly hold one pint of jelly.

I'm wondering why people have had problems with these, mine are probably 15 years old now and still going strong!When you put the bases on push down on the rim and they 'click' home on mine.Mine are in almost daily use too.

The jelly moulds are great value and 4 are just right for a pint of jelly but I cant seem to get them out of the mould. The children like to take them for school lunch so the pots are great but I am sure they would look nice on plate with cream. Advice please.

Cannot understand the issues people have with these. I am back for my second set-my sister took the first set-now over 5 years old-back to Malaysia with her as we found them so good. Never had any leaks, even when knocked in fridge. No idea why anyone would try to store the wrong way up-the base is clearly the small end.
