Slug Copper Barrier Tape

This really works. Last year I had slugs everywhere and this year, despite the rain - no slugs!!! Brilliant! Off to get some more now!

This copper tape has proved effective, and has stopped the slugs from getting into my large planter pot.I've had no damage from slugs to plants in this pot at all.I found the tape easy and quick to stick onto the pot, and it doesn't look out of place.

I bought this product last year to protect a raised vegetable plot which is built using old railway sleepers. It was entirely successful, but has not survived the winter. I shall be reordering this year

This is a reorder to replace tape that is getting a bit tatty after 3 years or so. We find it works really well - I've actually watched slugs and snails turn round and go back down the pot rather than cross it.

This tape really does work. I put it round troughs in a greenhouse in which I grow basil and dill, both of which have been decimated in the past by slugs as the new shoots appear.I must warn, though, that the edge of the tape is extremely sharp. I sliced cuts into two of my fingers the first time I used the tape. Wear thick rubber gloves!
