This is my second potato peeler from Lakeland. My first one lasted me over 10 years and so I had to get another one. This really is the best potato peeler I have come across and I would thoroughly recommend it!
This peeler is exactly what I was after and works fine. It feels sturdy enough and the handle is comfy to hold whilst peeling.
excellent, the 3rd of these which I have had, easy, (providing you do not inadvertently throw it out) simple is often better.
I've had this for well over a year now and find it works on a variety of fruit and veg: carrots, parsnips, potatoes, apples etc. It has kept nice and sharp (unlike some others purchased elsewhere) and is comfortable in the hand even for someone like me with some arthritis. I am right-handed so can't comment for any left handers. I had previously bought a Lancashire peeler from a small hardware shop and part of the peeler had a serrated edge that dug into your hand, so this Lakeland one doesn't have that problem. I keep the cover it comes in to prevent any damage in the drawer it's stored in.
The best potato peeler I have ever used . I am now ordering a second one for our caravan
