Beaded Fly Screen Curtain

I was asked to do a honest review of this product.I had got it for our holiday caravan so we could leave the door open to stop insects flying in. I can honestly say that it does the job it is supposed to .I have only had it up 3 days but so far no flies have come in and the caravan is a lot cooler .My husband installed it using hooks and was very simple to install. We are going to purchase one for home because we found it that good.

We've been looking for a beaded curtain to keep the flies out of the kitchen for a while now. The bamboo beads are lovely and the strings are tangle free so it's easy to walk through. The wooden mounting batten and two hanging eyelets are a bit flimsy but drilling and plugging two screws onto the outside wall above the door did the trick. We set the height for the curtain so that the beads are not brushing the floor which means there's a small gap at the bottom of the curtain. So far we haven't had any flies in the kitchen.

hanging baton a little rough,watch out for splinters ! .easy enough to install and does the job.looks nice, and so far stood up to the daily ins and outs of family life including dogs.I thought it was a little expensive.

Had this on trial and found it to do what is says. Attractive design, beads do not tangle and so far has kept the flies out. The wooden bar a little flimsy although easy to fit. The bead strands on our curtain were of unequal size varying from 190cm to 198cm in length. Using this on the inside of our sliding patio door is fine but we need to shorten the beads to clear the floor and even the length.

I thought when I ordered this it would do the job. Unfortunately not in my experience. It’s too flimsy and the beaded strings need to be closer. We have it on a lobby way door , and to be truthful the flies go in and out as they please. The only Lakeland I have bought in over 50 years , where I think I’ve wasted my money. My experience of it it the total opposite of the other reviewers.
