Zyliss® Easy Peel Garlic Press

This is one of many garlic press I've had & by far the best. No need to peel the clove just pop it straight in. It crushes really fat cloves easily leaving the skin behind. Wish I'd had it years ago. Def recommend.

Bought this 4 days ago, have used twice but an worried as just waded it and one of the little 'beads' that squishes the garlic is missing! I squeezed the garlic straight into a big pan of chilli so I am concerned its gone in there! Can't return as thrown away my receipt so bit of a waste of £6.99 for me, bought as was reduced, wish I'd gone for a more expensive one now.

My wife is extremely phobic of the texture of cooked garlic! So in order to put sautéed garlic into our food it needs to be obliterated! This tool does that very well and, until we lost the blue silicone insert provided for cleaning the little holes, it's pretty easy to clean too. I've noticed that putting it in the dishwasher isn't that good an idea as it corrodes the aluminum and makes grey garlic! But it cleans well with water and a washing up brush so long as you don't leave it to dry out before attempting to clean.

I highly rate this. Yes it does take some strength to push the garlic through, but it works. I find the blue plastic cleaner useless and it falls out the whole time, but it doesn't take away anything from this product

This gadget certainly works well for providing crushed garlic. As other reviewers have commented, the blue plastic guard isn't much use for removing the remaining garlic, as it quickly warped and didn't then fit the holes (the prongs are too flimsy/flexible). Also, we have encountered the same problem as some others with the silver coating coming off and the gadget then turning the garlic back. It will have to be thrown away and I am reluctant to purchase another - however good it is!
