Hot, muggy air can sometimes be unavoidable, but it shouldn’t stop you from going about your day-to-day life. With three fan speeds, the Beurer Fresh Breeze Air Fan & Cooler keeps the air around you cool and fresh for up to 4 hours, whether you’re working hard in the office or relaxing on the sofa.

How it works
With three fan speeds, you can choose the one that suits you. And this clever little machine also comes with the option to humidify the air by evaporating the water in the detachable bottle, and then releasing the moisture into the air. The fan draws the air from the room through the filter, which is soaked with the water from the bottle. The water is then evaporated by the damp filter and released, where it is absorbed by the surrounding air. And if you want even cooler air, you can chill the water in the fridge before use.
Handy and portable
Compact in size and stylish in appearance, it makes a great bedside companion, and has a handle on the top so it can be taken with you if you need a little cool air on the go. And to make it even more portable, it works with a USB cable, so it can be powered using a laptop or computer, making it ideal for sitting atop your work desk.

Sorry I’m afraid I can’t really review this product at the moment other than to say it appears to do what it’s supposed to and I bought it while the price was reduced. Just hope we get a lovely summer to try it out properly.
The fan is reasonably quiet, but will only cool if you are very close to it. I used it on a bedside table and the first night it ran fine, but in the morning it had leaked about quarter a cup of water out onto the bedside table and the bottle was empty. The second night I did not turn it on and did not refill the water bottle, but the next morning again it had leaked what remaining water was in the base of this unit. Have not used the fan again and would not recommend purchase of this fan.

This fan is compact and quiet. Only feel any benefit if you position it pointing at you close up. The instructions for assembling are easy to follow. Suitable for a very small space. Will not make any difference to the temperature in any surrounding. Difficult to move with the water bottle on the side, which I think looks like an empty pop bottle and detracts from its look.

Firstly, the pros: 1. Neat portable unit 2. Perfect for a desk as a personal air cooler 3. USB operated; great next to a computer when working, little electricity needed to run Sadly, that is where the positives end. Now onto the cons: 1. It isn't very powerful (although it is not expected to be in fairness). It cools the air directly in front of it. 2. Little difference between using water and not. 3. Leaks if moved slightly as water tray is at the bottom. 4. I ideally wanted this for next to my son's bed at night. USB operation made this an unviable option. 5. Price is a bit steep!

The Personal Air Fan is just as it says - personal. It is best suited for working in an enclosed space, close to your desk, or a smaller sized room in the home. The humidifier option gives a fresher addition to the fan’s use, without feeling that you’re sat in a misty squall. There is no dampness on surfaces or skin, which I was slightly expecting. The set-up is easy to follow, and it also looks aesthetically pleasing to have around the home/office, too. Be careful, however, if it is moved as the humidifier tray is full of water, which leaked even when kept level.
