Beurer Room Monitor Hygrometer HM22

Having air in your home that’s really damp or dry isn’t good for either it or you, but Beurer’s Thermo Hygrometer allows you to check the humidity at a glance, so you can see whether you need to use your humidifier or dehumidifier to tweak it a touch.
Excesses in air humidity can be a real cause for concern when it comes to our health. For some, having too little moisture in the air results in dry, sore eyes or aggravates existing skin complaints such as eczema, while for others, living in an overly damp environment can worsen other health conditions.
Sensing relative humidity from 20% to 95%, temperatures from -10˚C to +50˚C (let’s hope your home doesn’t reach either of those extremes!), and with a timer function that makes it a handy helper in the kitchen, this smart, battery-operated device has a touchscreen display that makes it really easy to use and read, and it also displays the date and time too.
There’s a hook on the back to attach it to your wall, as well as a fold-out stand in case you want to sit it on your bedside table, so you can check room conditions first thing in the morning and last thing before you go to bed.

The BEURER model hygrometer that I own predates this one, although I have bought this model for others. I started with one, and found it so useful at home that I bought two more. It’s easy to see when humidity is getting too high for comfort (then I use my dehumidifier) and in the current heat it’s easy to see if I should be choosing a different room to rest in etc. Simple, easy to use, fab.
I have dry eye problems at low humidity levels especially with the central heating on - this little meter helps me to predict when to use my air humidifier before my eye problems commence. On the other hand high humidity can cause problems with damp fabrics, wallpaper etc. so it can also indicate when the humidifier overdoes its job although I use the timer to signal when to switch the humidifier off before the room gets too humid. A really useful piece of kit and not too expensive!
Very simple yet useful little object. Main features of recording humidity and temperature, are added to with a timer and clock. Easy to use, with clear instructions. Will be very useful when using a humidifier to counter dry air caused by central heating.

I like the fact that the monitor is battery powered (and batteries come with it). It's really handy to know the humidity levels in each room as I can move my houseplants around the house to the best locations, I was really surprised by the humidity in some of the rooms, it will be interesting to see the difference in the winter months. I like the thermometer too, it's handy to have about the house - it agrees with my hive in the living room so it must be accurate.

We really like this Thermo hygrometer with timer, very impressed with it overall. It was well packaged and the unit is well made. The display is well laid out and easy to read.We have found the setting buttons on the back of the unit , quite fiddly to set up, but overall good value for money. We definitely recommend this product. Mr & Mrs Howarth
