Lakeland Tomato and Herb Pizza Sauce – 190g

This sauce has a rich tomato flavour - it is not at all acidic. I made my own 10" pizza base and there was a generous amount of sauce to spread over the base. If I had spread thinly there would have been enough for 2 pizzas. The flavour of the herbs and seasoning came through so the sauce is tasty enough to be used as a stand alone sauce or you could add extra ingredients for a change e.g. olives It is a thick enough sauce to be used in a similar way to pesto and I plan to try this sauce with my pasta dishes. I would recommend this versatile sauce.

Used this as a topping for two home made pizzas. Covered well, with small amount left. We all liked the taste and could also be used to add depth to other dishes with pasta. Will definitely keep a jar in the cupboard.

Made a home made 8” pizza and used half a jar. Absolutely delicious with a lovely consistency. I usually use passata on pizza but this is so much better with just the right amount of herb flavour coming through. Would definitely purchase this.

A lovely tasting pizza sauce - a nice fresh, deep tomato flavour with subtle herb tasting notes. Perfect for pizzas or cheese toasties in the air fryer. I tend to buy a few jars at the Windermere Store as I love having plenty in my pantry! I’ll try the chilli one next time!
