Some say panna cotta is the perfect dessert – it tastes delicious and needs only a few pieces of fruit or a drizzle of coulis to finish it off. But all that hassle of melting the gelatine and trying to get the consistency just right can put us off trying to make it ourselves. With this ready-prepared Panna Cotta Dessert Mix from Macphie you can be assured of perfect puddings every time, and it tastes so good no one need ever know that you didn’t make it from scratch! And, even better, this version is vegetarian too.

To create a batch of seven restaurant-quality servings of your favourite Italian treat, all you need to do is decant this dessert mix into a saucepan and boil vigorously for 2 minutes, stirring regularly. Pour into moulds and leave to cool slightly before refrigerating for 1-2 hours, at which point the puds will be set and you can turn them out of their moulds and serve – just as they are, or decorated with fruit, coulis, nuts and spices or chocolate.

This delicious dessert is suitable for vegetarians and gluten free. It’s also free from any artificial colours and flavours.
