Easy to use
It really is. Just pop the hotplate you want on top of the base unit, switch it on and select the temperature – choose a low setting for thinner crêpes, and turn it up for thicker, fluffier pancakes. Once the heat indicator light goes off, add your batter, flipping each circle of tastiness over once the first side is a lovely golden-brown. Then all you have to do is add whatever flavours you fancy and start snacking.

The first thing I want to say is that this is so easy to use and clean. Too many kitchen gadgets, whilst delivering good results, get unused because they're too difficult and messy to clean; this is not the case with this piece of kit. The pancakes were excellent, easy to make, tasting wonderful and will become a regular weekend staple in our house.

I bought one of these from Lakeland a year or two ago and, over time, it has revealed itself to be of the most useful items I have in the kitchen. For instance, it makes really good crepes which double up as wraps, (making them a really healthy alternative to the shop bought variety.) It heats quickly, to the temperature you want, is non stick, needing the mere drift of a spray of oil, cleans very easily with a quick wipe of kitchen paper and cools rapidly. It stores very easily, too.
Wow! With in an hour of arriving at my house a perfect batch of pancakes had been made and eaten.So much easier and safer to use than the normal pan on the hob. Also a lot less oil is required therefore making the pancakes healthier!The only trouble being than you probably eat twice as many because they taste so good.A great product from Lakeland. Well worth the money.
