Lakeland Shaved Ice Maker for Slushies and Cocktails
Product number: 63488
Put down the meat tenderiser and step away from the hammer – there’s a much easier way to turn ice cubes into soft, snowy shavings. Pop them in our Shaved Ice Maker instead, and you’ll be able to make classy crushed ice cocktails, kids’ snow cones and slushies, or delicious frozen desserts in seconds.
What you get
- Motor unit – powers the ice-shaving blades inside the bowl.
- Base – holds the motor unit.
- Exterior bowl – slots onto the motor unit and holds the interior bowl where the ice is shaved.
- Interior bowl – with stainless steel blades, gear hoop and dial.
- Clear lid – with locking safety switch.
- Ice guard – stops ice flying out of the bottom of the bowl.
- Instruction booklet – with clear, step-by-step assembly instructions and recipe suggestions for syrups to serve with your shaved ice.
Easy to use
Once the machine’s assembled and you’ve placed a small bowl on the base unit stand to catch your ice shavings, fill up the bowl at the top with ice cubes (home-made ones are best), replace the lid and turn it until the safety switch is activated, and it’ll start shaving straight into the bowl below. It’s best to hold the lid down to make sure all your ice is shaved, and all you have to do to stop it shaving is turn the lid the other way.
It’s not the quietest piece of kit you’ll ever have in your kitchen – but it is shaving ice, so you probably wouldn’t expect it to be!
Instant cool
Once your ice is freshly shaved, you’re ready to throw together some classic frozen cocktails, mix delicious chilled fruit smoothies, or simply add a splash of fruit juice or cordial for a tasty quick fix to give the kids an ice cool treat. And if you fancy a completely home-made, frosty fruity treat, you can always make your own syrups to drizzle over the top – you’ll find suggestions for a rainbow of flavours included, from raspberry red to black grape-flavoured purple.
