Lakeland Touchscreen Bread Maker and More

Product number: 63483

There’s nothing more delicious than the smell of freshly baked bread… except for maybe the taste! With a double-paddled loaf pan and multiple loaf sizes to choose from, our easy-to-use Touchscreen Bread Maker does all the work so you can easily get your bake on whenever you fancy a fresh loaf. And because the touchscreen panel is on the front rather than the top, it's really easy to access and use.

What you get

  • Bread machine.
  • Removable bread pan with handle.
  • 2 kneading blades.
  • Measuring cup.
  • Measuring spoon.
  • Hook to remove the kneading blades.
  • Instruction manual with recipes, hints and tips.

Easy-to-use touchscreen

Smart and sleek in silver and black, this attractive bread maker machine has a slightly unusual design, which makes it stand out from the crowd as far as we’re concerned. It features a large LED touchscreen display on the front that’s easy to use, with a Start/Stop button, simple option buttons and 12 preset functions: Basic Bread, Quick Bread, Sweet Bread, Whole Wheat Bread, Gluten Free Bread, Dough, Knead, Cake, Jam, Yoghurt, Bake and Custom. Whether you’re baking bread, cake, or making jam or yoghurt, the touchscreen display is clear to read and shows you which stage of the programme it’s currently on so you know at a glance how long is left.

Enjoy the perfect loaf

The 1.5kg capacity bread pan features two kneading blades, so you can choose your preferred loaf size from three options – 1kg, 1.25kg or 1.5kg – and you can pick from three different crust colours and adjust the time as needed too. And if you’re a real bread-making aficionado, the Custom programme lets you change the individual settings of the different bread preparation phases so you can customise your bread to exactly how you like.

Let’s bake

Simply measure out your ingredients with the included measuring cup and spoon, then add to the pan, pick your programme and press start. The lid has a handy viewing window on the top so you can easily check on the progress of your bread, and the machine will automatically keep your bread warm for 60 minutes when the programme has finished, so if you get delayed doing something else, you’ll still be able to enjoy that first just-out-the-machine warm slice. And if there’s a power cut during bread making, the bread maker will automatically keep going for up to 10 minutes, so you won’t have to reset it. Phew!

Delay Start feature

To make sure your bread is ready just when you want it, this bread maker features a Delay Start function – pop your ingredients in the pan the night before, set your programme and wake up to a freshly baked loaf for breakfast.

44 x 26 x 30cm H. 6kg. Flex 100cm. 850W.

"Our first Breadmaker"

star star star star_border star_border

I bought this breadmaker on impulse having visited Lakeland primarily to buy another knife for my Robert Welch collection. It's my first breadmaker so I cannot compare with others. It seems easy enough to use, though the instructions are poor and overcomplicated.Unlike others I had no difficulty whatsoever inserting/removing the bread tray. The first few loaves were perfect using ready made bread mix. For some reason the last few loaves have not risen properly using exactly the same settings which is rather disappointing.Any advise would be welcome? Hope it's not the machine!

Thank you for placing your review. I'm sorry to hear the recent results haven't been as good - this may be caused by a number of things and there are suggestions in the 'Troubleshooting' pages of the instruction booklet. Check the water is carefully measured and not too hot or cold. Also lifting the lid during baking will affect the rise. All Lakeland products come with a 3 year Guarantee so you always have peace of mind should you need to return it.

"Excellent bread maker (used at least weekly for 6 months)"

This review is for an older version of this product

This is the first time that we've had a bread maker and we're impressed. We use this at least weekly for bread (wholemeal and the Carr's sourdough packets) and we won't return to shop bread. We have tweaked the ingredients slightly for our taste (adding less sugar and salt and more seeds) to give us lovely bread every time. We've successfully tried other settings such as different doughs for pizza, muffins and hot cross buns. It took a few times to become familiar with the machine, especially getting the loaf tin in and out. We recommend using Easy bake yeast.

"Very Disapointed"

I have in the passed always had Panasonic but bought this to use while Staying at our daughters. It is very awkward to remove & put back the pan & just as difficult to get the loaf out once cooked. It has scratched the inside of the machine. my daughter won’t even try to use it now. Back to Panasonic I think

"touch screen bread maker"

star star star star_border star_border

I bought my bread maker some months ago and it is a good looking machine, bakes great bread using my own recipes giving consistent results. I bought a machine because arthritis has made hand kneading too difficult for me as I make bread three or four times each week. That's the good bit! . After a few weeks use I noticed that the interior started to pit with rust spots and around the paddle driver a ring of metal dust appeared. As usual Lakeland customer service sorted the problem immediately. Have upgraded to a more expensive model but with a few tweaks it would be a winner.

"Cup measuring"

star star star star_border star_border

I really don’t like recipes that use cup measurements. Not the most accurate method. Perhaps this is for the American market But why isn’t grams or ounces included too.

support_agent A note from the team

Thank you for placing your review. The cup holds approximately 160gm of flour. You can adapt your own recipes - just select one of the recipes in the instruction booklet which is similar to your own and use it as a guide. You'll find tips and guidelines on page 20. Thanks again.
