With all the power you’d expect from a plug-in, KitchenAid’s Cordless Food Chopper can be trusted to whizz through the prep, whether you’re chopping, mixing, whisking or emulsifying. And because it doesn’t have a cord, you can use it anywhere that’s most convenient – rather than having to try and fit everything (appliance, food, bowls – you know what it’s like!) on the piece of worktop next to a power socket.
What you get
- Cordless chopper base unit – with rechargeable lithium ion battery, battery indicator light and speed control.
- 1.18 litre chopping bowl – securing to the base with a twist-lock, it has a pouring spout and handle and is dishwasher safe and BPA-free.
- Lid – with drizzle ‘basin’ for adding liquids while mixing, and pulse/on button.
- Drive adapter – fits inside the bowl and drives the blade or whisk accessory.
- Multipurpose blade – made from stainless steel, it chops, purées, minces and grinds. Dishwasher safe.
- Whisk accessory – use to whip air into food like eggs and cream. Dishwasher safe.
- Charger – with 150cm cable.
Versatile and powerful
Tackling everything from raw meat to eggs and herbs to breadcrumbs, this multitasking machine has two speeds plus a pulse setting, helping you create hundreds of dishes, from mincing meat to puréeing hummus to whisking cream or whipping up chocolate mousse.
Easy to recharge
Capable of chopping up to 40 onions on a full charge thanks to its powerful lithium ion battery, it works on a less-than-full charge, too – handy if you can’t wait until it’s fully charged. The battery indicator light on the base will tell you when it needs recharging, and it takes just 2 hours to go from empty to full.
