On a hot summer’s day, when you’re serving up home-made ice cream to cool down friends and family, what better way to present it than in home-made waffle cones made with the Zoku Waffle Cone Maker? Ideal for sweet and savoury batters, it’ll turn out one perfectly golden circle after another with ease, and of course, you can use it to make flat waffles as well as waffly good ice cream cones.

Please note : Zoku recommend using a heat-resistant plastic or wooden spatula, or tongs, to lift the hot waffles from the waffle press to avoid the chance of scratching the non-stick surface.

"A Little Gem"

I bought one of these at the beginning of Summer and used it several times to make expert artisanal ice cream waffles. It takes a little practice but Lakeland provides a recipe on this website which to be fair is hard to beat. I have tried to find alternative recipes but theirs is the best. The cone roller is really useful but practice your techniques so that you don't burn your fingers when you roll the cones. If you want my personal tip I buy some silicone tipped tongs so that you can whip the waffles off quick and get rolling. A real family favourite especially with homemade ice cream
