A slice of cake and a cup of tea really is one of life’s greatest pleasures, and it’s even better when it’s home-made cake, and even better still if it’s home-made cake without the usual effort involved… With PME’s Too Good (To Be True) Cake Mix, you can forget all about measuring out ingredients, picking out eggshells, and piles of washing up, as most of the work has been done for you. The good eggs at PME have even included full baking instructions on the packaging, so what are you waiting for?

The easiest cake you’ll ever bake…

You fancy baking a cake, but you don’t have enough eggs, or you’ve run out of butter, or you don’t have quite enough flour… sound familiar? It’s frustrating, isn’t it? As long as you’ve got PME’s cake mix in your cupboard, you can make a standard 7" or 8" cake, or 20-24 cupcakes, whenever you fancy. All you need to do is stir water and oil into the cake mix, pour the mixture into an 18 or 20cm round cake tin (or cupcake cases) and bake – simple!

Versatile

As the mix is bake stable, you can customise your cake by adding up to 20% of your own ingredients. Coffee and walnut cake, lemon drizzle, an indulgent chocolate cake… whatever you fancy! You could also use the mix to make simple cupcakes, adding a swirl of scrumptious buttercream and some sprinkles for an impressive (yet easy!) finish – it’s a great, fun way to keep little ones busy too.
