It might feel a little like cheating but PME’s Brush ’n’ Fine Edible Ink Pens make it super-easy to customise your cake decorations – and their unique nibs let you draw fine lines or broad strokes depending on the angle you hold them at.

There are six colours to choose from – red, blue, yellow, green, purple and black – so you can write multi-coloured messages, draw animals, cars or flowers, or use the pens to add intricate detail to smaller icing shapes that you’ve made to top your cakes and bakes.

Suitable for use with:

• Fondant icing
• Sugarpaste
• Marzipan
• Gumpaste
• Royal icing (once it’s dry)
