Smaller, sleeker, but still just as smart as Nespresso’s earlier VertuoPlus, the Vertuo Next Coffee Maker by Magimix brews the perfect cup of coffee or crema-rich espresso, from a capsule, at the touch of a button.
Super-intelligent brewing system
Nespresso’s Vertuo brewing system uses centrifusion technology and automatic blend recognition to deliver the best possible cup of coffee. Just insert your chosen coffee capsule, close the top, and press the button. The machine will ‘read’ the barcode around the edge of the capsule (that’s the automatic blend recognition bit) and know exactly what to do to get the best-tasting results from the blend inside. There’s no need for you to change any settings, no matter what drink you’re brewing – from the shortest espresso to the longest Alto – the machine does it all for you. The capsule then spins at up to 4000 times a minute, blending the coffee grounds with water to gently extract all the flavour and aroma (the centrifusion extraction bit) and produce the perfect crema.
5 cup sizes for a huge range of brews
The Vertuo Next can brew five cup sizes so everyone’s coffee preferences can be catered for – Espresso (40ml), Double Espresso (80ml), Gran Lungo (150ml), Mug (230ml) and Alto (414ml). So you can start your day with a reviving mug in the morning, top up with an espresso in the afternoon, and relax with an after-dinner Gran Lungo – all without having to do anything other than pop in your capsule at the top and add your cup below.
3 capsule sizes
Over 20 different Nespresso Vertuo Grand Crus are available, each with unique aroma profiles and in three capsule sizes: large for Alto and Mug, medium for Gran Lungo and Double Espresso, and small for Espresso. Every blend has been specifically created, taking into account bean selection, blending, roasting and grinding, to provide the best fit with the brewing parameters and ensure every cup is the best it can possibly be.
