Grey Faux Fur Microwavable Body Wrap

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to slip the bag in and out of its faux fur cover - I had expected that to be a nuisance but it is useful to be able to remove it for washing. The subtle smell of the bag after heating is not overpowering with lavender and is much more preferable to the smell of my old wheat bag! It gives comforting warmth around the neck but I've also tried it in the small of my back - can recommend!

The soft cover for this body wrap is a blessing in many ways. It can be easily cleaned, its super soft and comfortable and it doesn't get heated automatically with the inside bag. It is long enough to be really useful and easy to insert and remove the heated internal bag. The aroma is not all pervasive, which is good for those with sensitive noses and allergies. It is very comfortable and cosy whether alleviating an ache or pain, wanting a quick burst of heat whilst the house warms up or embarking on a cold journey. A very flexible and well made product - I would definitely recommend this.

I had difficulty folding the wrap into my microwave to spread the heat. It took trial and error before I decided it was not compatible with my microwave. A neighbour heated it for me in her larger, higher power microwave and the result was so much better. A lovely relaxing heat that moulds to the required area. Very soothing and relaxing.

This is ideal if you need warmth and comfort for any ache or pain. The inner pad is heated in the microwave. You might need to experiment with the time guides for this, as we needed a little longer to ensure the pad was really warm [but not hot]. Once slipped into the outer fur, the wrap provides gentle warmth, which is very soothing. The fragrance is really lovely and the heat remains constant for almost an hour. A useful addition if you'd rather avoid medication.

I bought this as a gift to myself and I am very disappointed with this wrap. Whilst the outside cover is lovely and soft, the lavender fragrance seems almost non-existent. I did wonder if it had been on the shop shelf for a while and had dissipated. I also found that the wrap doesn't stay warm for very long at all - this was having heated the inner section for the maximum allowed according to the instructions. The instructions also mention securing the cover using the Velcro fastening but there is no Velcro on the wrap at all. For the short amount of time it stays warm, the wrap is lovely!
